RE Mayo Seafood docks can't be listed as free, but at $.40 per foot including electric they are Darn Near Free and deserve honorable mention at a minimum. Located at approximately 157.4 StM directly on the ICW just south of the Coast Guard Station near Hobucken, NC, RE Mayo offers boaters direct access to fresh seafood to stock the freezer as well as a convenient stopover for the night with limited 30 amp service and rest room facilities. A marine store and fuel are available. We will classify this dock as DNF or Darn Near Free. ICW Free Dock contributor Stacey & Dave Guth of m/v Stinkpot reported on 02/27/19 that the docks have been improved with concrete surfaces and that even though it is a no frills dock that had a good experience.
