Southport, NC – The Southport City Dock was closed in 2016 due to damage from Hurricane Matthew and reopened in May 2021 for walking traffic only. The finger docks will be rebuilt in phase two of the reconstruction project with an anticipated reopening to boaters in 2022. As of September 2022, there is no change in the status of the docks. ICW Free Docks will continue to monitor the status of the Southport City Dock and update this listing as needed.

Both waterfront restaurants in the same cove, Fishy Fishy and Provisions Company, offer free overnight dockage (limited space) with meals, etc. No services. Suggest that you call ahead for availability.
